Leica have launched a new DISTO product. The Leica DISTO D3aBT is a Bluetooth device, allowing rapid measurements to be captured and then transmitted to a software application such as miniPLAN.

The latest version of miniPLAN is now available online to download. This update is free to all exisiting miniPLAN customers and is also available as a free download if you want to trial miniPLAN.

The majority of our sales are still from abroad, with sales last week from Canada, Germany, Greater Antilles and Australia. The UK economy is out of recession, and some of the surveyors with whom we talk regularly are getting inundated with requests for quotes! This is great news, and shows that the Building sector is slowly waking up after being dormant for some 18 months.

There will be a software release in February, updating some of the Bluetooth interfaces, bugs fixes, and a few minor improvements. If you are an existing user, you will shortly receive an e-shot giving a link to the new version.
